Precision is often mistaken for detail.

More lines.
More complexity.
More elements.

This is not precision.

Precision is definition.

Each element exists because it is required.
Not because it improves appearance.
Not because it adds complexity.

A precise structure does not expand.

It reduces.

Until only what is necessary remains.

Every line has a position.
Every proportion has a relationship.
Every element has a role within the whole.

Nothing is placed to be seen.
Everything is placed because it must be there.

Precision is not how much is added.

It is how much cannot be removed.
